Greater Manchester

 

This shot i took whilst at a mates house,

 i had noticed the veiw a few times before but had not

had my camera on me at the time, luckily on this day

i had brought my camera, when i looked out of the window

the clouds were just breaking up and the sun was casting rays.

To acheive this shot i increased the exposure time so it looked darker

and made the light rays more defined.

Rusted from the Rain

 

This is a simple shot, i noticed a few old planks

of wood at the side of a path with a load of old rusted
nails sticking out. I found one nail that stuck from the rest,
its position looked more natural than the rest of the nails
because of its curves.
to acheiv this shot i had to adjust the focus so that
it was centered on the area just before the nail.

Chains

a barrier made from chains, i've taken pictures of chains before

because of the way the links repeat in oposite directions,

i also liked the slack in the chain. also i liked the focus wich

i adjusted using the camera.

Strip

This is a strip of water that i noticed in college,

it wasn't the most interesting of subjects but from the

correct angle it made a really nice shot with the sky reflecting and the
bricks and leaves protruding from the water.
This shot contains, leading lines and Reflection.

Charlies Web

A spider web at night, with a street lamp as a backlight,

i took this photo because i noticed the web glistening in the light.
I like this shot because the web is in such detail and the light gives great colour.
This shot contains, POV, Depth of Feild and Repatition.
